How many musicians are in the band?

The Eleven starts as a standard 11-piece ensemble and can be as large as 20-pieces.  If you are looking to hire a smaller band, do not hesitate to ask as we do customize the ensemble depending on your date and music tastes and needs.  

The 11-piece configuration is:  Keys, bass, drums, guitar, 2 male vocalists, 3 female vocalists, saxophone and trumpet. 

What pieces can I add to the core band?

Many clients choose to add pieces as the guest count grows larger or to accommodate a particular musical genre.  Add on options include additional horns, violins, percussionists and at times, specialty vocalists for international music.

Does the band come with sound production?

For most events, the band comes with their own sound and audio engineering team and this is included in the rate.  At times our clients or corporate partners have exclusive vendors for audio and visual and we provide a technical rider for them to fulfill and sound production in this case, would not be include in the rate.  (A click through to the tech rider and stage plot would be good here…I think where you have the + with rep and faq you can also have ‘tech’)

*Upon request, we can provide a quote for additional sound production options should you need it.  For example, a ceremony sound system or a system to support an after party DJ.

Does the band come with sound production?

For most events, the band comes with their own equipment and audio engineering team. Let us know if you are working with an audio vendor and we can customize your quote!

Does the band come with a stage or lighting?

The band does not come with staging or lighting.  Our clients have a keen eye for design and most often utilize their additional vendors to capture their vision when it comes to staging, lighting or florals.

Does the band take requests?

Beyond our very long repertoire list, the band will learn up to 5 new songs specifically for your event!  That’s right, we learn them from scratch, just for you.

Does the band work with other entertainment?

With years of experience in the entertainment industry for private events, we have come across some of the most curated, exclusive and talented performers.  Simply ask us and we are happy to supply wonderful options for whatever it is you might need!  

What does the band wear?

The musicians are styled specifically to your event type.  Whether a wedding, corporate event, or brand activation, the band will be as formal or as colorful as you like while staying chic, stylish, and always professional.

May we use other musicians from the band for other areas of the event?

You may use musicians from the band for cocktail hour or ceremony at an additional fee.  These musicians can be decided on after booking the core band for your main reception.  You don’t have to decide now and it’s often best to chat with the band director to discuss your music vision in order to select the right instruments for your style and song choices.

Do you travel for events?

We have performed across the U.S. and internationally.  Event locations include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico, Italy, Jamaica, Canada, Boston, NYC, DC, Miami, Vermont, and Maine, along with many others.  Simply let us know your event date, guest count, and location and we can put together a custom quote.

Do you have liability insurance?

Upon request, we can provide a certificate of insurance for your event.  We simply need a sample of the venue’s general requirements. Our clients usually request this about 2 months prior to the event date.

How much does the band cost?

Pricing for the band depends on several factors that we ask each potential client to share with us.  This includes:

  • Event Date

  • Venue 

  • Guest Count

  • Description of Event Space

  • Tentative timeline or performance start and end times

  • Type of Event (Wedding, Corporate, Social, Festival)
